If you found a.....

Wallet or purse with a hell of a lot of money in it would you keep it...

I ask because a few years ago me and my friend found a wallet with over 600 euro in it and a few credit cards and we gave it back acnd we didnt even get a thanks or anything for our troubles and the person whos wallet it was asked us to drop it down tohim instead of coming and collecting it and he wasnt exactly close to where we were....and that got me pissed off so if I ever find a walet or purse I'm keeping the money

I'd take it to a police station and have them find the owner.. It is what I'd want someone to do if they found mine. And as for your scenario, there are some ungrateful people out there, but you can't let it get to you, and most importantly, you can't let it deter you from doing the right thing. Sometimes it takes bad people to point out the good ones.

I would keep the money, and I have before. But instead of spending it, I gave it to some homeless guy I found. Or maybe some dead guy.. I don't know, he was lying there... he could have been sleeping. And only because I felt really guilty and a week had already gone by.

I know it's wrong to keep the money, and you should think about the consequences of your actions, and how you would feel if it had happened to you, but I don't think about things. Sooo, whatevs. Perhaps I'll be one of those crazy people on the street who spits in your mouth and steals your wallet or purse. I think I'd enjoy that.



But the right thing to do would be to return it.

nah, I won't keep it, I'll try find it's owner and give it back ....

If you do keep it, it is theft, but if you declare it and nobody takes ownership of it you legally get it.

Exactly thats why I dont carry movie with me I bring what I need and watch my pockets

well, i have found £50 quid in tescos before, slipped it in me pocket!!!
it was enough for a 2nd hand collection of PS3 games!!!
yea, if i found more than 250 then just take a tenner and give it back lol
